Election Day

Today is Election Day in the USA.

it's the biggest election in my life time.

Please, please, please, if you live in the US and can vote do so.

Like other bloggers I respect, i don't care who you vote for. I do care that you vote.

If I can do it, so can you.

ETA: I waited over an hour and a half at my polling place. Bring a book or a walkman/ipod with you.

Yay. May the best politician win :)

I don't live in the US, but I think people from all over the world will be watching to see who will win.

@Polar Bear,
@Dano
@Mala,

I find it so unusual that the three of you, two strong women who are not Americans, and one naturalized American, followed our election. As a rule, Americans don't tend to follow other countries.

I was watching CNN last night on TV and had my laptop on in front of the TV, watching and the BBC site. I even posted my comment about the election under my real name on their site.

I don't like discussing politics here, but it was humbling watching the results play out and realize I was watching history in the making. Our first black president. But i look at him I don't see color. I see a very strong individual with a very handsome wife, and I feel - I feel he is my generations JFK, and Michelle is Jackie.

Mala, you are right. Back to NaMo! Polar and Dano, my fellow writers, you should do it.

National November Writing Month. It's fun!
