I've tried to help some people on a social networking.
It's hard for some of them to stop.
The don't even want to listen about changes.
It was very frustrating.
Now I'm giving some help on another one and there are some women that can spend some time without cutting and one day they cannot stop the urge.
They feel so guilty that aches.
Unfortunately this is seldom brought to public attention and they have to deal with stigma.
Hope you're fine Susan!

@Mom, a scary but not bloody movie, hmm. anything by Ed Wood maybe?

#44- House- Hugh Laurie. A British actor from "Red Dwarf" named Craig Charles. I love his voice, I am a sucker for a Scouse accent.

I usually go for writers though....

@Ana-thanks. I have had some help with cutters, and other women who S.I, and yes, I am guilty of S.I. too.
It's hard to stop, but hopefully you can have many years between incidents. Ah yes, guilt and aches. I wish there was a way to deal without pain.

I absolutely LOVE this post. I'm going to "bookmark" it, because I am a size Queen when it comes to self-injury.

Some people have even thought that some of my cutting scars were burns, because they are so wide and deep.

I have managed to stop cutting, burning, stapling and bruising myself over the past year. But I still maintain any scabs, relentlessly picking the newly dried offender.

As the insects are particularly bad this year,I'm walking around looking like a heroin junkie!

I loved what you had to say on John's blog, so I'll be back to read more of yours.

In sisterhood, Dano.

I feel honoured!

I took this as a sign that you wouldn't mind my adding yours. A virtual form of the proverbial six degrees of separation!

See you in the ethosphere,

Dano.

What a great post! There are some (well, quite a few) here that I don't have on my list. Now I can update it, which I have been meaning to do for ages.
