Yom Kippur

To all of my Jewish friends and readers, may your fasting be meaningful, and may you be inscribed in the Book of Life. May this New Year bring everyone happiness, and peace.

Susan~ My heart goes out to you, my sweetie. Curl up close and bury your nose into the sweet smell of your cat. Fondle his paw pads, soft from indoor experience, yet resiting you.

Pick up and roll your kitties skin, from the neck down to the tail. When you pull up the skin, using both hands, one on either side of the spine, do this:

Only pull up enough skin, to not hurt. Roll your thumbs against the first two fingers of each hand, as if you were rolling a cigarette.

Repeat all the way down the spine, stopping only if there is a negative reaction from your beastie.

Toward the tail, the skin is tighter. If you can't lift it up, push forward enough to release the skin up, and gently push back.

Project your love in all ways. Hum, breathe, project thoughts.

How did it go for you? Not easy for me, though a few days after with some med changes, it got a lot better.

Hello Susan,

I like your blog. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.

I hope you had a good Yom Kippur. My family and I are enjoying the Feast of Tabernacles, and hope you are too!
